Davis began her professional career as a child at three years old, starring in numerous television commercials. When she was a young girl Davis became a regular character on Charles In Charge. The show ranked number one in syndication. Josie received three nominations and received the prestigious Youth in Film Award for her performance as Sarah Powell. Davis has become an adult has been featured in many TV series and has won Lifetime Movie Network two awards for his work. Davis was a student of actor Paul E Richards intensively for nearly twenty years, despite the fact that she would enroll at USC's famous Writing program. Davis was 24 when she sat for an audition to be a part of the Hollywood elite group, Shelley Winters Mark Rydell Martin Landau. Davis, who had only attended one audition at the famed Actors Studio with privileges of working at the studio, was granted a lifetime membership following a callback. Davis was among only two actors accepted in those auditions in the year that she was accepted from over 1,000 applicants.
