
Jazmine is a Philadelphia native is a native of Philadelphia, and was raised in the city. Pam her mother has been a back-up singer who was a part of Philadelphia International Records. In the age of five the father of her was appointed to be the city's Historic Strawberry Mansion curator. She and her family moved later to the historic mansion. She was a graduate in 2005 of Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts where she was an instructor of vocal music. Sullivan began singing in the children's chorus as a contralto, later she joined the adult choir a few years after that. His exposure to secular music was at first limited "I did solos at churches and a person wanted me to sign to an gospel label when I had turned eleven, however I wasn't at the point of doing that," she recalls. "Then McDonald's offered a competition to kids from cities. After that, I was given the opportunity to perform The Grace God Gives me on Showtime Apollo. My fans were very enthusiastic." She performed with Stevie Wonder at his grandson's birthday celebration at thirteen. Sullivan made her first signing to Jive Records when she was fifteen. In Jive Records, she made an entire album. However, it was never released. Sullivan was ultimately eliminated at the hands of the company. The singer had a great working connection along with Missy Elliott. Elliott produced numerous tracks for her such as "Backstabbers" the track that was written by Timbaland.
